Job Description
Responsibilities of the Cloud Data Engineer:
- Lead the technical delivery of new services and capabilities within the AWS environment.
- Manage the AWS Cloud Infrastructure and assist in the maintenance of the SQL Server environment.
- Gather and process raw data from multiple disparate sources (including writing scripts, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, etc.) into a form suitable for data warehousing and machine learning.
- Refactor or develop relational data models, dimensional data models, data dictionaries, and necessary metadata using Amazon Redshift in AWS.
- Code, test, and document new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable data/machine learning models for analytics.
- Design enterprise-wide data architecture as well as design documentation deliverables.
- Expertise in AWS services and architecture
- Advanced SQL Query, ETL/ELT/LET and Data Architecture experience.
- Experience using Microsoft's SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS (Reporting Services), PowerBI Dashboards, and OLAP services.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- AWS certifications preferred
- $120-140,000
