AMG Specialty Hospital– Zachary is hiring Full Time Registered Nurses,(RN) with ICU, 2 years LTAC or Step-down experience for Night Shifts!

Excellent opportunity for your nursing career.Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are notlimited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow,bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients,they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, andcardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-termIV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment withwound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RN’s will be responsible for directand indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Ability tocommunicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes inpatient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies andsymptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition orresponse to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing dutiesin all departments with adequate supervision.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered.
• Acute care, med-surg, critical care or ICU experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.
