Yulista Integrated Solutions LLC Regular PENDING CONTRACT AWARD PRIMARY FUNCTION Installation of aviation electrical components, wiring, and/or cable on aircraft in accordance with approved methods, techniques and practices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Integrate, secure, clamp, and perform continuity and power checks on wires, harnesses, and cables into aircraft • Troubleshoot faulty systems as required to meet customer needs • Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall aircraft parts/systems • Terminate connectors, to include coaxial cables • Conduct Maintenance Operational Checks and Acceptance Test Procedures • Utilize test sets, multimeters, DMC crimp tools, wire strippers, heat guns, and perform soldering as required • Must be capable of performing tasks in cramped, awkward, and strained positions and/or climbing up and down ladders, work platforms, scaffolding, and aircraft structures • Must be capable of performing tasks that frequently require: lifting, reaching, bending, walking, pulling, sitting, and standing, crouching, kneeling, and stretching for prolonged periods of time • Must be capable of carrying items up to 40 pounds. Heavier items must seek assistance of other workers or weight lifting devices • Follow drawings/blueprints/instructions/Modification Work Orders/Technical Manuals • Follow regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) program requirements • Assist Aircraft General Mechanics with scheduled maintenance • Operate Ground Support Equipment (Generator Cart, Tow Tractor, Forklift, etc.) • Provide own tools with the exception of specialty tools • Maintain control of tools. Report missing, lost, found, or unattended tools to the supervisor. Inventory and inspect tools on a regular basis and replace worn or broken tools. • Maintain a high state of cleanliness and utilize a clean-as-you-go process when executing maintenance duties • Annotate logbook and workbook entries or other contractual guidance required • Comply with processes and procedures as per DHS/Department of Defense (DOD) documents and publications • Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day to day maintenance. Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety, violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor. • Work, cooperate, and communicate, as directed, with supervisors, team leaders, and coworkers satisfactorily. This includes the professional and mature acceptance of constructive criticism. • Must be willing to travel SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have direct reports. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: • May require knowledge of and experience performing maintenance on the following aircraft: H-53, V-22, AH-1, UH-1, UH-60, AH-64, CH-47, and C-130 • Ability to read and interpret all aircraft instruments and utilize specialized test equipment and tools • Experience following all applicable specifications to complete aircraft avionic systems troubleshooting, repair, and testing in addition to installation of wiring and fabrication of wiring harnesses. • Proficient utilizing test sets, multimeters, DMC crimp tools, wire strippers, heat guns, and soldering • Knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Publications such as the 4790.2 and IETMS to assist in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions and discrepancies • Requires the ability to quickly learn the NALCOMIS/OOMA reporting system to report and document any discrepancies and repairs while performing maintenance and inspections • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, service bulletins, technical data and directives, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field required • Analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and use general office equipment such as a computer, copier, scanner, and printers, etc. • Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinely • Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up • Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues and present solutions to management. • Ability to follow a process, learn, and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista’s goals • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently and multitask • Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc. Must represent Yulista in a professional manner at all times. QUALIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or equivalent; familiarity with military aviation standards and procedures • Preferred candidate to be skill qualified in a primary MOS OccFlds: 63/64 Avionics • Ability to pass a drug and background screening • Must obtain and maintain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government. Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for Common Access Card (CAC). WORKING ENVIRONMENT: A fast paced multi-tasking customer service oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Overtime may be required.
