Role OverviewThe primary focus of Inside Sales - Account Manager is to provide quality service to our customers. The Inside Sales - Account Manager will effectively communicate with a diverse customer base via phone, email, and fax in order to make outbound sales calls, respond to inquiries, place orders, problem solve, obtain information, and communicate product information; as well as identify and complete revenue generating opportunities with customers and prospects.

Daily duties include heavy product labeling and label management, inventory management, entering orders, pulling and packing orders, invoicing, shipping, and all other daily support functions.Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and growth of assigned accounts (cross sell/up sell) via regular telephone contact
  • Acquisition of new customers via warm lead follow-up and cold calling as well as reactivation of lost customers
  • Manage both short- and long-term sales cycles through customer partnerships
  • Share customer insights to provide feedback to leadership for the creation of sales and marketing promotions
  • Maintain accurate customer information with frequent updates within internal ERP and CRM
  • Promote company brand and customer-oriented culture
  • Responsible for achieving all goals and metrics as assigned.
  • Provide superior customer service through effectively responding to all inbound customer calls, email, and faxes.
  • Support customers through providing solutions including
    • Accurate order processing and pricing functions in the ERP system
    • Changes to accounts
    • Order inquiries such as tracking information and product ETAs
    • Product advice/knowledge
    • Coordinate product return/repair support including logging product and service complaints in a timely and professional manner
    • Communication of product availability information
  • Provide outbound communication as necessary to resolve or follow-up on issues.
  • Perform revenue generating activities wherever applicable, including:
    • Cross-Selling, Up-Selling or Category Growth Selling activities
    • Lead Generation or Referral Generation activities
    • Qualification and Profiling activities
  • Assist with all sales related duties where assigned
    • Answering sales and customer service related inbound calls
    • Make outbound sales or service-related calls as requested
    • Assisting with operational items to help release stuck or open orders
    • Help drive special initiatives such as rebate programs, campaigns, web sales growth or others as requested by management
  • Utilize all available tools, including ERP system and CRM database.
  • Accurately create and maintain customer records in ERP and CRM systems, including order preferences, product specific feedback, address information, billing information, and contact preferences.

RELATED DUTIES:  

  • Any additional duties assigned by supervisor and/or manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Training and Experience

  • Ideal to have dental product knowledge. (Dental Implant knowledge/experience a plus.)
  • Ideal to have customer service/phone center experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or higher.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

  • One year’s customer service experience in either a call center environment featuring a moderate to high volume of inbound and outbound calls or a manufacturing environment. Some sales experience preferred
  • Experience with an order management system, including a CRM is preferred.
  • Or equivalent combination of training and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Long periods of sitting, talking and computer work
