SUMMARY 

The HRIS Administrator’s primary focus is the support and maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS). This position coordinates with HR team members to ensure incoming employee information is entered/uploaded into the HRIS and other systems as swiftly and accurately as possible, conducting periodic audits to ensure employee, position, and location information is consistent across the organization with HR Leadership. This position will also oversee administration of our iCMS recruitment and onboarding ATS software and assist in the implementing new/revised modules within our HRIS system and iCMS for YGS and serves as subject expert. Serves as a technical point of contact ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Administrator also supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned. The HRIS Administrator supervises the HR Coordinator & HRIS specialist, who assists in employee responses to frequently asked questions and data entry.

Hiring range: $65,487-75,000/year

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with all HR team members responsible for receiving and uploading data into HRIS, including sensitive employee data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality. 
  • Ensures accurate and timely submission of employee reports to include the EEO-1 submission and other regular compliance reports. 
  • Ensures all employee and supervisor inquiries regarding personnel information receive a timely and accurate response. 
  • Supports the development and revision of compensation models and builds the processes and timelines to execute the implementation of revised or new salary schedules and total rewards.
  • Supports the development and revision of HRIS modules and builds the processes and timelines to execute the implementation.
  • Support all UKGPro configuration needs on new system workflow enhancements. 
  • Researches various HRIS opportunities for improvement. Investigates newly available features and within the UKGPro HRIS system. 
  • Serve as the system administrator to support ICIMS recruitment and onboarding ATS system.
  • Provides technical support to overall HR Team including creating and writing reports -- standard and ad hoc. Creates monthly and quarterly scheduled HR reports as needed. 
  • Maintains complex human resource files and records including employee files. 
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, along with a good understanding of industry best business practices. 
  • Provides org-wide support for HRIS training & functions. 
  • Ability to facilitate and promote change in our growing organization. 
  • Special projects as assigned. 
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT 

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. 

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. 

    POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK 

    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

    TRAVEL 

    Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. 

    Qualifications

    • 3 years of experience in a high-volume data entry/import position with accurate and efficient computer skills. 
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite software and working with database software.
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. 
    • Strong Excel skills 
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. 
    • Ability to compose and produce professional looking documents. 
    • Prefer knowledge of, and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful. 

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

    • Ultipro and ICMS experience preferred 
    • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential. 
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science with emphasis in HRIS systems. 
    • Six Sigma or other project management experience.
