YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire a Lead Toddler Teacher for a year-round opportunity!

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00 am-5:30pm. Year round 12 month position.

Lead Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:

• Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program
• Creating developmentally appropriate activities/lessons for 18-24 month old toddlers.
• Diapering and feeding.
• Creating a monthly calendar of activities.
• Communicating with parents about children's growth and development
• Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children

Lead Toddler Teacher Qualifications:

• Have 2 years of experience working with children - this can be professional, volunteer, or familial (babysitting, etc.)
• Child care experience required, toddler experience preferred
• Are at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate. College credits in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
