YMCA of Collier County is Hiring a Lifeguard Near Marco Island, FL

WE CAN CERTIFY YOU!

Are you whistle worthy? A YMCA lifeguard is responsible for the safety of all members, patrons, and program participants. Duties of a lifeguard include watching over the pool, enforcing the rules, performing first aid, and minor pool maintenance. Our lifeguards are expected to have a positive attitude and be an example of the YMCA’s core values: Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of lifeguarding and pool safety
  • Certified by either the YMCA or Red Cross in:
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Training
  • Lifeguarding
  • Blood borne Pathogens Training
  • Must Complete Redwoods Training for Lifeguards within 30 days of hire
  • Prior lifeguarding experience is not required
  • Must be at least 16 years of age

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
