Description

The YakAttack Systems Administrator responsible for providing professional and technical support in the following areas: General system administration, specialized system administration, Network administration, and Cloud administration.
Provide system administration for workstations, servers, and various network and infrastructure devices, to include installation/imaging, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems to resolution on the required Operating System.
Ensure all servers, workstations, and various network and infrastructure devices adhere to security and compliance requirements. Performing configuration changes, conducting log analysis, system hardening, and managing/maintaining endpoint security compliance.
Provide design, deployment, management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems in the below environments: Enterprise software distribution and management tools, Directory structure management, Virtualization infrastructure, Storage arrays, Endpoint security servers, and Databases.

• Evaluating the functionality of systems
• Implementing and managing security or integrity and backup procedures
• Testing and modifying systems to ensure that that they operate reliably
• Managing secure network access for remote users
• Evaluate technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.
• Utilizing Microsoft 365 Admin Center to manage user emails and security
• Research new technology, software and systems and make recommendations for improvements
• Provide user support
• Manage and maintain email accounts
• Work with outside utilities

Qualifications

• B.S. in Information Technology and/or Information Systems
• Minimum of 5 years of overall experience
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center
• Understand networking configuration
•  Solid understanding of computer systems
• VLAN & IPsec VPN tunnel configuration, and general network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, SSH)
• VMware ESXi version 6.X or 7.X (VCenter & VM configuration)
• Disaster Recovery procedures and planning
• Extensive knowledge of software systems in use
• Organized and efficient

• Excellent communication, verbal and written
• Office knowledge including use of technology, office equipment, basic office systems
• Willingness and ability to learn about the company, the team, and the industry in an effort to get better at what they do and how they do it.
