XYBIX SYSTEMS, a leading innovative ergonomic furniture manufacturer located in Littleton, CO is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join the Xybix team! We manufacture customized sit-stand furniture for 911 dispatch centers, medical centers, public utilities, security applications, call centers, work-from-home professionals, gamers, and more! All of our products have fitness, health, and comfort designed into them for people in these fields.

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician who is industrious, can learn fast, follow instructions and has a positive attitude to join our team. This role requires experience in maintenance as well as safety. You will also be required to assist the production team by building products as manpower and maintenance needs flex.

RESPONSIBILITIES will include but not be limited to:

• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
• Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
• Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repair. Order necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
• Assist with installation and modification of equipment; CNC’s, Saws, Drills, etc.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Maintain lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs. 
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Participate in all HSE-related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing and assessment, etc.
• Perform Lock Out – Tag Out
• Follow existing policies, practices and procedures to produce a great work product.
• Learn to use ‘lean’ manufacturing techniques to ensure safety and quality.
• Learn how to operate a variety of machinery.
• Participate in improvement activities to ensure you succeed in your job and add value to your team!
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED). 
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience
• Experience with Safety procedures and documentation (OSHA Certification – Preferred)
• Experience welding - Preferred
• Understanding and familiarity working in the MS Office suite (Word and Outlook).
• Self-motivated mentality and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

POSITION STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt 

PAY RANGE: $24 - $29 per hour (subject to candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience)

SHIFT: Monday – Friday
