Who We Are Looking For: 

Xwing is seeking a DevOps engineer to support the buildout and management of the Engineering team's hardware and software infrastructure and systems. This role will oversee systems including developer workflow automation, Continuous Integration, Data Processing, hardware and infrastructure management, and be responsible for supporting the efficiency of the Engineering team in the execution of their work. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyze current technology and workflows utilized within the company and develop steps automation, and integrations to improve and expand upon them
• Create practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrate them to other members of the team
• Work closely with engineers to install, configure and maintain hardware and software needed for project workflows to be completed efficiently
• Assess user needs, develop detailed specifications for proposed solutions, and implement them

Required Qualifications: 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in automating and integrating tools used in the Engineering workflow
• Strong experience in Linux-based infrastructures and administration, both locally and in AWS
• Python, Shell scripting
• Git, Jenkins
• Docker, Ansible
• Experience with LAN/WAN networking essentials such as IP addressing and subnetting and routing, and cloud security

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience with ML workloads
• Experience with general IT systems, security software, IT administration
• Familiarity with cross-platform software development processes and tools
