We are seeking a self-driven HR Generalist to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a broad knowledge of human resources functions such as onboarding, recruitment, benefits and payroll. This individual works closely with the Human Resources Manager to support departmental needs and ensure compliance with company, multi-state and federal policies and employment laws.

This is a remote position (Must live in South Florida) with work hours of Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm EST.

What you will do:

• Assist with the day-to day operations of the human resources department functions and duties. 
• Manage the onboarding process from start to finish.
• Assist with recruitments efforts (post jobs, review applications, pre-screen and schedule interviews)
• Maintain employee files electronically and update the employee manager system.
• Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll. Serve as back-up for payroll.
• Serve as contact person for employee questions e.g., onboarding, payroll, and related HR topics. 
• Troubleshoot errors with platforms; Create IT help tickets to assist with IT issues
• Maintain complete and accurate personnel files in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Conducting periodic audits of employee records and files and workplace poster requirements to ensure federal and state compliance (i.e., I-9s)
• Assist with employee relations issues, including leading internal investigations and providing recommendations for resolution

What you will need:

• Must live in South Florida. (Please don’t apply if you don’t live in South Florida)
• College Degree (preferably in human resources or communications)
• Must have 5 years of experience working in human resources
• Onboarding experience is a must
• High speed internet and a quite workspace is required
• Available for overtime as needed
