Job Description

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new inbound and outbound leads to support the Marketing and Sales teams. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong sales dynamic, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification.
  • Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email.
  • Identify appropriate buyers within the target market.
  • Provide feedback to help identify prospects' pain points.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and follow-up.
  • Track lead opportunities resulting from marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with Marketing to convert warm connections into hot connections.
  • Partner with Sales Directors to act on the follow-up opportunity.
  • Utilize ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other platforms for opportunity tracking and sales pipeline management.
  • Effectively utilize Salesforce and available marketing and sales tools and resources.
  • Actively participate in pipeline reviews and discussions with direct manager and key partners.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Xevant’s procedures.
  • Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within the job function.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of successful sales prospecting experience.
  • Self-motivated, hungry to learn, and enjoys the challenge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
  • Technology products and or healthcare experience is a plus.
  • A passion for sales and the processes, technologies, and methodologies involved.
  • Working knowledge of ZoomInfo and Salesforce or similar contact management systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills both over the phone and potentially onsite at tradeshows.
  • Ability to set and manage multiple priorities.
  • A team player, this role requires constant cross-communication.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Ownership mentality.
