Senior Project Manager The Rapid7 Managed Services Senior Project Manager works directly with clients, Customer Advisors, and Customer Success Managers to provide successful partnerships with our customers. They are heavily involved in the escalation process for the Managed Services team, identifying lessons learned with a focus on customer advocacy and conflict resolution. They develop and run projects from beginning to end based on data collected from customer engagements targeted to improve future experiences. This position requires a dynamic individual with the capability to manage multiple projects. About the Role In this role, you will: Create and lead projects while holding others accountable to meet KPIs. Effectively manage simultaneous projects and procedures to support critical day-to-day business operations. Present and provide updates to management and other stakeholders. Suggest changes to workflows to improve efficiencies in the program. Coordinate, schedule, and record project updates for a broad audience. Proactively engage in problem-solving and gain alignment with stakeholders. Create and maintain customer-facing documentation and project reports. Understand and communicate technical aspects while managing relationships across various teams and clients. Work effectively across functional groups, sometimes as a mediator, to resolve conflict. Serve as a customer advocate while capturing feedback and influencing product managers, service teams, and support. The skills you’ll bring include: 5 years of experience in Project Management, Cybersecurity, or SaaS technology. Ability to quickly adapt between strategic and tactical thinking. Proven customer-facing and escalation management skills. Strong familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices. PMP or similar training certification is a plus. Self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrates strong initiative. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Extremely organized yet flexible. Familiarity with Salesforce and Atlassian Jira.
