Position Summary:

Hard work makes the difference. X Display Company is looking to hire a Systems Engineer in our RTP, North Carolina location. The primary responsibilities are to contribute to manufacturing equipment hardware/software design and improvements. The Systems Engineer will report to the Chief Systems Engineer in our RTP, North Carolina location.

Responsibilities:

You will:

• Design systems which are a mix of optics, motion control, image processing, IO and software.
• Contribute to micro-transfer printing (MTP) software development (C#, .net environment)
• Manage and oversee projects, equipment improvements, and product deliveries.
• Troubleshoot complex problems where software, hardware and application characteristics are blended
• Work with customers and partners to define project and/or product requirements
• Mentor other engineers and seek to continually improve knowledge base
• Perform experiments that set the path towards new (MTP) solutions.

Qualifications:

You have:

• A BS or graduate degree in physical sciences or engineering and 5 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with complex manufacturing equipment (motion control, vision systems, IO, control systems)
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication methods
• Multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Proven proficiency in system comprehension
• The ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• Experience working directly with customers
• Due to facility export control rules, only US Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered
