VP of Finance 

We are looking to grow our team with the new position of VP of Finance - this positions sits within the finance organization of WX Brands and reports directly to the CFO.

The VP of Finance role is expected to lead financial planning, cashflow management and control. We are looking for someone to actively participate in the strategic planning process and the analysis of new business opportunities across the organization and collaborate with corporate housekeeping and planning.

This role is based out of Novato, CA (Marin County) and has great flexibility between working from home and working in our Novato headquarters. We are open to candidates working in our office on average, twice a week.

Responsibilities include:

Financial Planning, Cashflow Management and Control 

• Cashflow planning, including long, mid, and short-term planning. Build up cashflow model, develop KPIs and lead forums to align organization towards goals
• Cashflow administration including verification and control of payments
• Definition of short term and long term of debt holdings for the company
• Formal and informal reporting to financial institutions, negotiation of new terms, waivers if needed, etc.

Performance analysis and Corporate reporting 

• Collaborate in the corporate reporting process, including Board of Directors materials
• Revise and analyze KPI’s to identify areas of opportunity

Collaboration, synergies, and compensation between entities

• Take on synergies analysis and project management of the collaboration initiatives between the sister companies at the group
• Consolidate the compensation accounting and other mechanisms between the sister companies

Strategy and Business Development

• Actively participate in the strategic planning process (long rate plan, budget, and forecasting)
• Revision of Corporate structure
• Managing complying on time in full of financial, tax and other reporting and corporate housekeeping requirements
• Analyzing with cross-functional impact industrial growth projects, specific collaboration, or projects of organic and inorganic growth

Team development 

• Help build up a high-performance team with strong analytical capabilities
• Engage in cross functional analysis to provide problem solving capabilities to the rest of organization

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with financial modeling, business analysis, FP&A, business & product integration, and analytics in a corporate environment
• Experience with pricing models
• Ability to think outside the box and solve problems
• Entrepreneurial with a high level of fire and hustle
• Wine, Beverage Alcohol, or CPG industry experience is a bonus

Education

• 8-10 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or relevant field
• Business Masters (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
