Welch Community Hospital
This position will provide support through shared understanding and respect to help individuals become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of relapse. It will assist individuals in obtaining recovery materials and attending support meetings. Will work as part of a team to deliver services to recovering individuals. Conduct community outreach to promote the recovery coach services. Mandatory overtime is an essential job function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Welch Community Hospital is a tobacco free campus.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: High School diploma or the equivalent AND Certification in Peer Recovery through the West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction and Prevention Professionals (WVCBAPP).
AND
Experience: One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in addiction/recovery services or a related field.
