Wurth Elektronik Watertown is Hiring a Remote Intern - Inside Sales

Join our Inside Sales team! You will obtain a real world experience, work for reputable company, and experience our professional but fun Company Culture where everyone is willing to help and support each other.

Traditionally, students complete their internships during the summer; however, we have opportunities for you to obtain hours toward internship requirements during the school year. We offer a flexible schedule to work around your college classes and you may work up to 20 hours a week!

You should verify with your professor or department of study prior to accepting an intern position to ensure the hours worked will satisfy your internship requirements. We can assist you by supplying a job description of the position.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Work cooperatively with the distribution partners to process orders, move in/out order line items, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly sales goals. Act as the primary contact for distributor inquiries.

Activities with a wide variation or duties within structured procedures, policies, and practices coupled with limited supervision. Decision making in somewhat varied situations with a possibility of a range of outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Cooperate with the inside sales department as well as outside sales force to manage activity coming from the team and distributors. This duty is performed daily.

Generate quotations, manage and expedite samples and orders. This duty is performed daily.

Processing of product returns and analyzing allowance amounts for eligible stock rotations from distributors. This duty is performed monthly.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Our standard lines and custom-made transformers are used around the world in LED lighting, smart grid and utility metering, industrial controls, telecom (CPE and CO), home automation, and home appliances.
