WSP USA is Hiring a Survey Manager Near Chicago, IL
This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full Time Survey Manager for our Chicago office. Be involved in projects with our Civil/Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
· Manage, mentor and train survey personnel.
· Oversee the preparation of weekly field schedule for surveyors, field technicians, and field leads.
· Prepare quarterly projection of resource needs for field crews and equipment.
· Actively participates in company resource meetings with Project Managers.
· Assist in RFP process and new business development.
· Procure necessary research for survey projects.
· Prepare calculations for field crews.
· Give specific direction and guidance to field crews.
· Prepare project budgets, proposals and technical reports.
· Ability to represent projects at planning, client and municipal meetings.
· Oversee field survey, review and certify completed survey work.
· Create field and safety guidelines handbook.
· Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 10 Years experience
• Current Illinois Professional Land Survey License (PLS) and ability to obtain licensure in other states.
• Strong professional communication skills
• Excellent people management skills.
• Flexibility to work in the office and field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation, Total Stations, GPS, Trimble business.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current PLS Licensure in other states, such as Wisconsin and Indiana.
