WSP is looking for a talented structural engineer with 5 years experience to join our growing Geotechnical and Tunneling Team in New York City.

WSP is looking for a Structural Engineer (Underground) for our New York, NY office.
Your Impact
- Design and analyze reinforced concrete, steelwork, tunnel linings, subway station framing, and other underground structures
- Lead structural tasks
- Guide entry-level engineers
- Perform field inspection of existing underground structures and new construction
- Prepare drawings, studies and designs of underground projects
- Prepare reports and contract documents
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Minimum B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural or tunnel engineering practice
- trong background in structural analysis, familiar with structural engineering software such as SAP2000, STAAD and spColumn. Familiar with CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license
- Master's degree, doctorate or equivalent experience in related field
- Underground structural experience
