WOW Logistics is now hiring for aLearning and Development Specialist!

The Learning and Development Specialist will support the team’s mission of empowering employees’ by developing their knowledge, skills, and capabilities which drive growth and continuous improvement.

As the Learning and Development Specialist, you will assist with administering our Learning Management System (LMS) by helping facilitate the creation and delivery of innovative, high-impact learning experiences that enable individuals, teams, customers, and the organization to continually learn and develop. The Learning and Development Specialist must be able to work with various multimedia sources (video, audio, documents, links, etc.) integrating them into the LMS curriculum.

We are seeking a creative, technical, hands-on person looking to take ownership of organizing and managing training and development opportunities across the WOW Logistics network.

Responsibilities:

  • Support WOW Logistics training programs by developing and/or coordinating training materials for multiple areas focusing on procedures, systems, workflows, and policies
  • Design and develop instructor-led, blended, and online training programs using state of the art tools and techniques to develop and deliver learning solutions
  • Help to prepare Subject Matter Experts (SME) to deliver training as needed
  • Support the Manager of Learning and Development in utilization of our Learning Management System (Cornerstone) to create training courses, initiate enrollment, generate reports, and manage curriculum assignments
  • Continually increase your knowledge of the Learning & Development craft
  • Tech savvy individual skilled with handling, editing, creating multimedia digital content
  • Work with business partners to assess training needs for products, programs, policies, procedures, processes, technical systems and service skills, and develop plans to address training and best practice needs
  • Work with Learning and Development Manager to assist in integrating document management knowledge and items into LMS
  • Assist on as-needed basis with LMS administration
  • Serves as library and learning site subject matter authority regarding the document control and learning management processes and assists end users as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in training, curriculum development
  • Working knowledge and experience in Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone preferred)
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized; excellent written, listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills are a must
  • Multi-tasking and flexible to adapt to fast-changing requirements
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, self-manage, and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests to meet project deadlines
  • Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be flexible and patient to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Able to prioritize workload while maintaining flexibility
  • Positive, determined, and energetic problem solver
