PURPOSE GlobalTranz is building a next generation platform servingcustomers and internal users, the Software Engineer (C#.NET) will beresponsible for building and maintaining applications to support our businessneeds. This includes stand-alone applications as well as Web applications allsupporting internal and customer facing business processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain applications in the development andtest environments.Adhering to coding and design guidelines to be usedthroughout our applications.Collaborate with architecture team to define developmenttoolset.Assist in organization code review process.Assist in the development of technical requirements forAgile development teams.Develop updates, corrections, or enhancements includingBusiness Logic in C#.NET & SQL as well as User Interfaces in HTML andJavaScript.Provide analysis and recommendations for externaltechnologies which could enhance and improve products to meet business needs.Assist operations team on application deployment Issues.Integrate with other technologies using Rest API, WebServices, EDI, XML, and SQL.Work with DevOps teams to facilitate deployment of codeartifacts to Cloud based environmentsResponsible for data security and web site intrusiondefenses of applicationsSupport the overall SDLC process including continuousintegration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESUnderstanding of the industry, specific WWEX business model,and unique characteristics of the CompanyWorking in collaborative relationships across teams, leadersand vendors Verbal and written communication skillsConflict management and problem-solvingAssessment and decision-making skillsRelationship building both within the organization and withexternal sourcesPresentation and facilitation skillsAnalyticalTroubleshootingDeductive and inductive reasoningCritical thinkingForward thinkingOperational Expertise QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant field.3 - 5 or more years development experience using C#.NET in aVisual Studio environment.Previous experience in the Logistics and TransportationIndustry is helpful and preferredExperience developing software systems of medium-to-largescope and complexityExperience with web and server-based technologies with acombination of the following: C#.NET, IIS, REST, XML, JSON, SQLExperience with agile development methodologies (SCRUM orKanban)Experience working with Services Architecture (SOA / MSA)Experience Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, Resharper, C#/.NetFramework, Postman, Swagger/Swashbuckle, Github, SQL Server 2016, GitKrakenExperience with cloud computing via Microsoft AzureExperience in web related technologies (Web applications,Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures, REST)
