PURPOSE We are looking for a talented Sr. User Experience (UX) Designer to be an integral part of designing and creating exceptional customer experiences for our Next Generation platform. The Next Generation Platform is a “green field” build with a completely new user experience paired with new backend services. With a growing base of SMB customers, this new platform will delight our customers leading to increased revenue opportunities through cross sell /up sell capabilities, improve customer retention and enable higher productivity with ease of use and automation. The Sr. UX Designer will own the design process from research, concepts, design and testing working collaboratively with other UX researchers, UX / UI designers and UI developers from our digital agency partner as well as internal colleagues from technology, marketing and business teams.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Contribute to our customer research working with digital agency to create personas and establish voice of our customerLead design thinking sessions with customers and internal stakeholdersCreate design artifacts such as concept maps, story boards, sketches, wireframes (hi-fidelity / low-fidelity), workflows, etc.Gather feedback from stakeholders and customers with rapid prototyping to validate product directionCollaborate on development of UI working with front-end developers ensuring end product meets intended concepts / prototypesBuild strong relationships with key internal business and IT stakeholders and external partnersPresent and effectively communicate the creative vision and how it meets business objectivesRefresh and expand the creative vision and design as the new platform matures and additional lines of business, features, and products are added.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESOrganizational skillsVerbal and written communication skills.Conflict management and problem solving.Assessment and decision-making skills.Relationship building both within the organization and with external sources.Presentation and facilitation skills.Analytical.TechnicalDeductive and inductive reasoning.Critical thinking.Forward thinking.Operational Expertise.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree.Master’s Degree, preferred3 years of industry experience as a UX / UI designer, interaction designer or similar UX-related role3 years of experience creating prototypes, hi-fidelity, low-fidelity wireframes for web applications3 years of experience working with design tools such as InVisionExperience working with in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments collaborating with designers, product owners and developersGood understanding of Front-End web technologies like Angular, Bootstrap, etc.Experience with Agile development toolsets from Atlassian suite (JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence, etc.)Excellent written and, verbal, analytical and presentation skillsExcellent attention to detailsExperience in the logistics/transportation industry or adjacent industries applicable to WWEX.
