The World Surf League produces high quality Live Broadcast coverage, Post Produced Highlight shows, general & branded content around their World Championship & Challenger Tour events, along with Big Wave and Longboard Tours. As Production Coordinator you will provide administrative and on ground support to the Head of Broadcast/ EVP and the Director of Field Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with pre-production, planning and onsite delivery 
• Work for hire contract management & tracking
• Consolidation of Group Production Schedules
• Development & quality control of all production books, daily schedules, catering, craft services
• Broadcast crew communications
• Assist external production groups & key stakeholders in pre-production and onsite 
• Payroll processing. Prior experience with Media Services Payroll will be highly regarded 
• Reconciliation of production group credit cards 
• Assist with Freight & transport logistics support , crew travel arrangements
• Assist with presentations & reports 
• General ad hoc administrative tasks as they arise 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in physical TV production, understanding of Live production environments. Live outdoor sports broadcast experience will be highly regarded 
• Knowledge of logistics aspects of production planning 
• Strong knowledge of Google suite, excel, numbers, word, powerpoint/keynote 
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize. Must be able to multitask, assisting multiple projects concurrently 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal & written 
• Customer service focused in support of large teams on the ground as well as external stakeholders. Calm, efficient, quick thinking 
• Ability to be self driven, work independently with a team oriented, can do attitude
• Willingness for International & Domestic travel, along with non-traditional work hours, especially during events and peak times. 
• West coast USA based. LA will be highly regarded. Hawaii considered
