Workrise is Hiring a Remote Senior Manager, Sales

Workrise is hiring aSenior Manager, Salesthat will be responsible for sales target attainment within the solar business unit, sales team management, and client experience. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who cares deeply about our clients in the renewables industry and who enjoys working cross-functionally on their behalf. They will also be a strong leader in developing our sales executives and holding the team accountable.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a team of 4-8 Sales Executives with deep industry expertise as they sell across multiple cities across the U.S.
  • Taking accountability for the region and team in reaching monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Partnering with our Central Client Operations teams to close deals and speed up onboarding to create positive client outcomes
  • Driving client & sales team adoption of new platforms, processes, and technologies
  • Working with local Head of Renewables and sales team to address large account issues and proactively anticipate roadblocks
  • Develop strategy to drive more sales activity and establish KPIs to hold the sales team accountable
  • Working to continuously improve the sales team’s sales skills and industry knowledge to win more business
  • Leading the sales team in a strong expense management culture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, product, compliance, legal, and others to provide visibility to sales forecast and opportunities to improve value to our clients

What you should have:

  • Ability to walk on a job site and understand the project stage, skill sets needed, and potential challenges the client is facing at that moment
  • Ability to be a thought partner and solution provider for our client’s biggest challenges
  • Self-starter, team player, positive attitude and the ability perform with high levels of autonomy
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Prioritization, time management and organizational skills
  • First-rate interpersonal skills, to communicate effectively (in writing and verbally) with clients and team members
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, insurance, and reliable transportation
  • 10 Years in Construction/Skilled Trades/Industrial Labor Sales
  • 5 years of sales management experience
  • Associates Degree or higher education equivalent
