Description

The Senior Human Resources Generalist will support the Human Resources Director in the implementation and deployment of Human Resources policies, programs and initiatives.

Additional Job Responsibilities 

  • Assist the managers with talent planning, engagement, and organizational design 
  • Partner with managers to conduct job evaluations and create/update job descriptions 
  • Participate in development and delivery of new employee orientation 
  • Support managers with performance improvement, employee relations and coaching
  • Develop HR communication materials for all aspects of HR (newsletters, benefits, employee resource groups, etc.) 
  • Design and deliver training on HR basics and compliance (Sexual Harassment, Interviewing Basics, etc.) 
  • Manage and/or coordinate special HR projects to support the business
  • Manage employee exit process: conduct exit interviews, identify and communicate trends, and escalate concerns 
  • Process HR transactions, hire, term, comp increase as needed 
  • Serve as a resource to employees and managers on inquiries related to employee handbook, other HR policies and procedures; provide HR guidance on benefits, compensation, performance management, coaching, etc.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with candidate interviewing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5 years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices, processes, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Previous experience partnering with managers on organizational design, job evaluations, etc.
  • Previous experience supporting employee relations and performance management programs. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment/labor laws and employment policies and practices. 
  • Excellent consultation and execution skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Professional HR certification preferred.
