Salary Range: $59,004 - $96,720

Workforce Solutions Alamo is responsible for over $100 million dollar budget consisting in local, state, and federal funds. Workforce Solutions Alamo is governed by a 25-member Board of Directors that reflects the diverse constituencies of the regional community: business, economic development, education, labor, community organizations, and government. Our service area includes the counties of Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, McMullen, and Wilson.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Director of Innovation and Technology, performs advanced (senior‐level) Network & Security related work. Work involves overseeing activities associated with a local area network or wide area network, network security, enterprise security, Internet, and other data networks; planning, designing, and integrating data telecommunications networks; designing, installing, and monitoring networks; monitoring and analyzing existing hardware and software; developing policies and procedures; and evaluating potential network enhancements. This position is also responsible to perform complex (journey-level) cybersecurity analysis work. Provides recommendations and insight on our IT operations and strategy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required. 4‐6 years’ experience in network or security administration position. Knowledge and/or experience in time/project management. CCNA, CCNA security, Security or higher‐level certification preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
· Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
· Will require occasional in-region and out-of-region travel; Must have proof of valid driver’s license and current auto insurance; must provide own transportation when on company business.
