Requirements:

• 7-10 years Minimum Dental Assisting Experience
• X-Ray Certification
• CPR Certification
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Job Description: The dental assistant is upbeat and nurturing by nature. You perform a variety of dental assisting duties, including temporary crown fabrication, while promoting quality dental care for our patients in a safe and harmonious environment.

You are an advocate for the patients and practice by assisting the doctor, maintaining equipment and inventory, managing infection control, practice promotion, and more. You understand the value of preserving patient relationships, accurate records, and patient flow. You take pride in your ability to listen and think critically to document clearly, concisely, logically, and grammatically correct.

The dental assistant uses leadership skills, professionalism, discretion, integrity, honesty, and dedication to encourage clinical adeptness, teamwork, and communication with the patients and team.

Woodruff Dental offers our community general and cosmetic family dentistry, including Invisalign. We have great relationships with the dental specialists in our area and refer most surgeries and endodontic care out so that we can focus on preventative and restorative care. Although we love the convenience of the Cerec machine, Dr. Woodruff and Dr. Boyd prefer lab made crowns and work exclusively with Lafayette Dental Laboratory to fabricate all our crowns, implant restorations, and bridgework.
