Wood is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC West business. This is a permanent opportunity and supports a major client to deliver a long term engineering service agreement.
Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Kazakhstan.
You will be reporting directly to the Delivery Manager and working in an ESC contract, to create delivery excellence across the assigned project portfolio, across some of world’s most technically challenging brownfields Oil & Gas projects for the Operations team with a key client.

You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.
Ideally you will be suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognised institution and have a 10 years of proven experience in the Oil and Gas Brownfields Engineering / EPCM sector in Australia, including 3 years of relevant experience in a similar Project Engineering role. It is advantageous if you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or hold an equivalent certification.
