Wood Plc is Hiring a Project Superintendent Near Gillette, WY

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a Project Superintendent in Gillette,WY 

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

  • Promote and adhere to Wood’s safety processes and culture
  • Use established Wood processes and procedures to manage job success and profitability
  • Adhere to safety; use "Stop the Job" philosophy to insure protection of Wood Stakeholders' interests
  • Implement job site safety plan and complete A/I reporting as required
  • Communicate openly and fully with Project Manager and management team from the beginning to the end of the project on progress and issues
  • Use a team approach to improve efficiencies
  • Organize and manage daily activities for all crews
  • Manage all site personnel and equipment (to include rentals); Set daily expectations for crew performance
  • Successfully train new employees
  • Ensure purchase orders (PO's) are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Carefully and ethically track changes in scope with signed change orders
  • Professionally manage each new job assigned; Responsible for project profit/loss
  • Build relationships with our client's project work force, include the site superintendent
  • Prepare as-built drawings as job progresses
  • Closeout projects per Wood and Client expectations

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Supervisor experience required
  • Experience with construction and heavy equipment on site
  • Strong background in process piping fabrication and installation

  • Must be able to read and interpret P&ID’s
