Wonderschool is Hiring a Remote Customer Support Specialist

Position Summary:Wonderschool is harnessing the power of technology to provide comprehensive support to child care providers operating out of their homes as well as in the government and non-profit sectors. Our products enable child care providers to create high-quality environments and meet the demands of their business, while also helping parents in need of childcare solutions through the creation of an accessible marketplace.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be a core member of our US-based Customer Support team that directly works with Wonderschool’s Program Directors and parents to ensure their experience with Wonderschool is amazing! This is a full time, remote role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist parents and Program Directors via email ticket, phone, and chat to resolve Tier 2-level requests regarding billing, enrollment, technical, and business support in the Wonderschool platform.
  • Work effectively across teams to resolve customer requests on tight timelines while delivering high quality customer service.
  • Use your business acumen, creativity, and tools to resolve complex issues impacting multiple stakeholders, and create a delightful experience for all.
  • Research and create or update customer-facing content for Wonderschool’s resource center.
  • Expand Wonderschool’s footprint by assisting with special projects and one-off needs that come to us from our diverse group of in-home childcare programs and network partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Wonderschool’s Director of Customer Support to refine support team processes and optimize for high quality customer service systems.
  • Collaborate with Wonderschool’s Engineering and Product teams for company-wide wins.

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 years of experience on a customer experience, support, customer service, or account management / customer success team. 
    • Retail experience welcome. Experience working in education or in a childcare setting is a plus!
  • Business proficiency in Spanish (a big plus, but not required).
  • A problem-solving mentality. You love to dig in, strategize, and solve puzzles proactively to find the answer.
  • Interest in gaining experience in a variety of domains including finance, operations, marketing, business development, technical support, and license compliance.
  • A strong desire to join a mission-focused company working to expand child care across the United States. 
  • BA, BS, or equivalent preferred. 
  • Availability to sometimes work during off-hours.
