About the role

The Business Process Manager will be an integral member of the team responsible for defining and launching critical business functions and responsibilities for Wonder’s last mile delivery operation. Focused specifically on Wonder’s ‘Chef-on-Road’ activities, this role will work to evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor, and control critical elements of the operational playbook and roadmap that builds a culture of operational excellence today and pushes Wonder into its next growth phase tomorrow. This role seamlessly blends operational and strategic problem solving with in the field implementation that requires continuous iteration to maximize efficiency. 

  • Building and optimizing business processes for scale- Evaluate operational problems, manage, and conduct data-driven analysis to assess potential solutions, and develop strategic solutions that address the root cause of problems
  • Launching new business operational processes- Take an ownership mindset and strategically thought partner with partner organizations (Product, Learning & Education, Vehicle/Appliance Engineering, Regional Operations) to develop end-to-end rollout plans and project-manage the implementation. Identify and track performance, measure progress and iterate on needs and requirements accordingly
  • Defining and tracking KPIs- Create and own business scorecard / KPIs; proactively identify strengths and weaknesses, and drive action planning to continually improve business operations
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships for business success- This role acts as the subject matter expert for their domain and as an internal consultant for the team who will provide strategic analysis to guide both strategic decision making as well as supporting day-to-day operational needs 
  • Manage various projects end-to-end from ideation through scalable execution in partnership with restaurant General Managers, Culinary Research & Development and Regional partners
  • Work closely with a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to create operational playbooks that support growth initiatives

The experience you have

  • 4 years of professional experience in Field Operations, Operational Strategy and/or Logistics & Transportation. Experience at a high growth startup in a Strategy or Operations role preferred
  • Strong project management and in the field problem-solving capabilities; ability to create multiple back up plans to ensure task completion
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and carry-out data driven and supported process designs and implementations
  • Ability to create and iterate on functional processes to ensure successful execution
