About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive team. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate would have experience in media/entertainment, running SaaS platforms, a proven track record of managing high-growth companies, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with Co-Founders in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to execute projects and initiatives
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and partners
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities and optimizing existing operations
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends to identify areas for innovation and improvement
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the company’s progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Manage the company’s budget and resources effectively to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team that is aligned with the company’s culture and values

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 10 years of experience in operations management, either in the VFX or Tech Industry
  • Proven track record of managing high-growth companies and driving revenue growth
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience with recruiting, training, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Passion for technology and innovation
