The Compensation and Benefits Director functions as a global strategic partner and subject matter expert to the organization. This role drives global strategy, policy, and programs spanning all areas of compensation and benefits to assist the business in achieving goals, to ensure pay practices are fair and competitive, and to create meaningful benefits programs that attract and retain key talent.Job Description
- Creates and develops compensation and benefits strategies and collaborates with stakeholders to implement, sustain, and enhance. - Develops compensation and benefits plans and programs to attract, engage, and retain key talent. Maintains these programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and relevance. - Develops key decision-driving collaterals for the executive leadership team and the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors (BOD). - Partners with the external compensation and benefits consultants on initiatives requested by management and/or the Compensation Committee. - Responsible for major compensation processes across the organizations, such as the annual merit, bonus, and stock grant programs, spanning the forecasting and planning through communication to employees. Partners with internal stakeholders to effectively plan for key deliverables and communicate changes in real time. - Responsible for major benefits processes across the organization, such as pension administration, health and welfare plans, leave administration, 401(k) and equivalent global programs, and compliance-related matters. - In collaboration with Legal and Finance, responsible for providing and calculating compensation and benefits data for the Company’s annual proxy statement. - Partners with internal stakeholders to provide compensation and benefits-related information and guidance on resource planning and accruals. - Serves as the compensation and benefits subject matter expert on major initiatives, such as merger and acquisition activity, re-organizations, and the creation and/or refinement of career ladders and paths. - Responsible for day-to-day compensation and benefits requests, including job evaluations for new and revised positions. - Consults with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on requests. - Ensures consistent application of compensation and benefits programs throughout the global organization. - Responsible for the maintenance of compensation and benefits information in HR systems. - Leads and develops compensation and benefits team members with accountability and successful navigate change management. - Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies. - Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager. - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field - At least 10 years of progressive compensation and benefits experience, with some global experience - CCP a plus - Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel - Working knowledge of HR systems, including Peoplesoft and/or Work Day - Effective project management skills - Ability to analyze data and make innovative recommendations - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate difficult decisions - Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of internal and external partners - Demonstrated ability to work in a consultative manner in a complex, fast-paced work environment - Results-driven with ability to multi-task - Accuracy with strong attention to detail - Ability to maintain confidentiality of informationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills which may be required.
