Wolgast Corporation is Hiring a Payroll Clerk Near Saginaw, MI
Wolgast Corporation is looking for a Payroll Clerk. This position is responsible for preparing weekly payroll, maintaining accurate records, preparing payroll tax returns, processing year end reports (W-2's), etc. Other accounting tasks will be required, such as assisting to ensure that accounts payable invoices are coded and distributed for approval, data entry, and other various administrative duties.
Qualifications:
- Must have an understanding and working knowledge of Payroll and basic accounting principles with experience in AP/AR.
- Must have proficiency with ten-key data entry, MS Word and Excel.
- Accounting related Associates Degree is desired but those with applicable experience are encouraged to apply.
- Must be professional
- Pass a background check and drug screening test
- Starting pay at $16/hr (or more, commensurate with experience).
