The Accounting Clerk shall provide clerical assistance to the accounting department which has the goal of optimizing cash flow though established policies and systems. This position will also assist with payroll and provide coverage for payroll. Tasks include assisting to ensure that accounts payable invoices are coded and distributed for approval, data entry, payroll processing, and other various administrative duties.
Qualifications:

• Must have an understanding and working knowledge of basic accounting principles with experience in AP/AR and Payroll. 
• Must have proficiency with ten-key data entry, MS Word and Excel.
• Accounting related Associates Degree required but will consider those with applicable experience in lieu of degree. 
• Must be professional
• Pass a background check and drug screening test
