Doctor of Optometry

Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking an Optometrist to provide services for patients in our SAC CITY, IOWA clinic.

Optometrist candidates must have strong clinical diagnostic skills and a passion for delivering patient centered care. While they may be experienced or new graduates, they must be focused on offering a great patient experience and want to work as a part of an outstanding medical and surgical team. Responsibilities include-

• Perform routine vision examinations for children and adults • Perform testing and analysis and develop treatment plan

• Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and disorders such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and other retinal conditions • Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses and medications

• Consult with and refer patients to ophthalmologist, and perform pre- and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries such as cataract
