JOB OVERVIEWJOB TITLEACCOUNT SPECIALIST/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE IPECIALISTOFFICEREPORTS TOCUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTIONAssist customers with orders and solicits productDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESReceives inbound calls & emails from customersEnters and processes customers’ orders using the Direct Order Entry SystemArranges shipping of orders through the shipping department, common carrier services and provide freight quotesMonitors order schedules to track order progressContacts production control and shipping department to arrange order to be processing and shipping of ordersQuoting prices to inquiring customers vis phone thru quote systemVerifies inventory levels available via in-house computer systemIssues credits and return authorizationsMakes daily outbound calls to customers and dealers to solicit product salesReviews dealer sales using monthly sales reportsAnalyzes sales levels and suggests new sales strategiesResolves problems with freight damage and shortagesCorresponds to other departments through the interoffice e-mail system SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondenceSpeak effectively before groups of employees in the organizationAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondenceSpeak effectively before groups of employees in the organizationAble to multitask several processes at one time EDUCATION & TRAININGHigh school diploma or general degree (GED) OROne to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceUse of Excel, Word Programs and Outlook KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCEBuilding and maintaining business relationships with clients to ensure customer loyaltyMentor; give direction to junior CSR’sEnsure deliver of excellent customer service; accuracy in processing ordersAble to resolve customer inquiries/complaints WORKING CONDITIONSWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
