The Manufacturing Engineer will drive project planning and implementation of manufacturing solutions to support existing and new product manufacturing.
Drive project planning and implementation of manufacturing solutions to support new product development projects
Work daily with a fully functional tool & die shop
Provide technical and project leadership to deliver cost effective and robust production processes and systems
Develop new manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
Perform root cause analysis to develop and implement solutions
Recommend tooling and machining improvements to improve cycle times and reduce scrap.
Providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to tell others about how devices, parts, equipment, or structures are to be fabricated, constructed, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimize production of non-conforming parts, anticipate problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving tool room operations
Coordinates activities with Plant Operations Department
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum 4 years related experience
Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to learn, navigate and use all proprietary company and equipment software desired
3 years working in a manufacturing production environment
