We are seeking an experienced leader of Program Management to build an execution-focused Program Management function for WiTricity. This role will be instrumental in creating a team to drive next generation wireless charging programs through our world-wide development and R&D organizations. Based at our Watertown, MA headquarters, we are seeking individuals who have successfully established program and project management processes within early-stage companies.

Responsibilities:

• Create processes for driving engineering programs to ensure successful programs in terms of feature set, performance, schedule, BOM cost, and quality metrics.
• Interface with product management to ensure adherence to stage-gate development processes. This includes product requirements, BOM cost, schedule and success criteria are established up front and to ensure constant monitoring of key performance indicators to ensure programs are kept on-track.
• Work with Engineering functional managers in EE, ME, FW, SW, Product Validation, and NPI to establish resource requirements and to assign members to program teams.
• Oversee program managers who are creating project plans, executing the management of programs, reporting on status, making adjustments to close escalations, issues, and gaps, and ultimately to ensure successful outcomes are realized. Conduct weekly program review meetings for the program team and engineering leadership. Conduct monthly program review meetings for executive staff. These meetings will use agreed upon standardized presentation templates and include key program metrics.
• Recommend and implement risk mitigation plans while maintaining high quality. Assess risk in programs and recommend solutions to a range of difficult problems.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in a technical discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within a product development team.
• Experience delivering products comprised of software, electrical, and mechanical elements.
• Demonstrated experience building a team of Program Managers and overseeing that team through numerous successful engineering programs.
• Experience interfacing with new product introduction (NPI) and Contract Manufacturing (CM).
• PMP certification and Agile experience strongly preferred.
• Must have an execution orientation, a passion for continuous improvement, and exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills with demonstrated ability to influence individuals across technical disciplines and geographic locations.
• Experience interfacing with program managers from customers and outsourced partners.
