Project Description:

The Artillery Fire Control Systems Team supports the Paladin Fire Control Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) Project Officer in the execution of Government responsibilities for the tactical fire control system software acquisition, development, test, integration, fielding, and maintenance of the Paladin M109A6 and M109A7 fire control systems. This scope of work requires Artillery Weapon System Support including System Requirements and Software Configuration Management (CM) to the Fire Control Systems & Technology Directorate (FCS&TD) Paladin Fire Control software development, integration, and test efforts.
Job Description:

Work with teams to support development of system requirements in coordination with the TRADOC Capability Manager (TCM), user representatives, the Program Manager (PM) and the Army Capability Set (CS) and Common Operating Environment (COE) community.
Support the System Requirements Analysis phase, where the Paladin Fire Control requirements list is analyzed and the requirements are allocated to the Paladin Fire Control sub-systems.
Support updates and allocation of requirements to the System Requirement Baseline Document and Interface Specification Document (SRBD and ISD) during the functional requirement analysis phase.
Support of bi-directional traceability of the system software documentation is required for use at Paladin Program Milestone Reviews.
Has experience with technical engineering skills for software system requirement allocation, software system analysis, and system/software configuration management as required support within the Department of Defense or private industry.
Demonstrate skilled technical support in past experience in Field Artillery, with functionality and doctrine experience of the Paladin family of 155 MM Howitzers, the Fire Control Systems and their software system requirements and software configuration management task requirements.

Qualifications:

Must have expertise in the support of Paladin Artillery Fire Control Weapon System Support for System Requirements with significant practical experience or a similar position in the past within DoD
