* Conduct testing processes and procedures to perform physical and analytical product quality tests on finished syrup and beverage, inspect raw materials. Use laboratory test equipment and apparatus to conduct tests.
* Run control drink on finished syrups to ensure taste and quality.
* Maintain files and test results, record corrective procedures, control reports and supporting data in accordance with prescribed procedures.
* Perform finished package tests (Seam).
* Maintain accurate data in computer database.
* Perform RO and water quality tests.
* Maintain an orderly and sanitary conduction of Q.A. lab at all times.
* Ensure accuracy of equipment through calibration and documentation.
* Sanitize tanks and equipment to ensure company quality standards are met.
* Locate necessary ingredients in inventory and transport to syrup room for mixing. Blend syrup ingredients according to established standards and procedures.
* Unload sugar/concentrate trucks.
* Maintain records and logs of procedures, results, and problems.
* Interpret blending/sanitation schedule requirements and plan personal schedule accordingly to suite priorities.
* Periodically perform inventory checks and sort concentrates and syrups. Assure ingredient stock is rotated.
* Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all safety and sanitation and food safety regulations.
* Understand computer usage, commands, and how to troubleshoot Accoss and Conti-Mix.
* Communicate effectively and be a team player.
* Perform flavor changes.
* Requires high school diploma.
* Requires basic mathematical skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
* Requires the ability to operate and utilize laboratory and test equipment.
* Must have the ability to problem solve and good communication skills.
* Using a forklift, move material to proper location in inventory.
* Maintain an orderly and sanitary conduction of room and related storage areas.
* Sort waste/recyclable materials.
* Light maintenance work.
* Must be a team player.
