Your Role With Us:

Our Talent Acquisition (TA) Team is seeking a versatile, adaptable professional with high attention to detail and a strong service focus to join us as a Talent Acquisition Specialist*.

Serving both the Staff Recruitment and Provider Recruitment Teams under direction of the Manager, the responsibilities for this role include:

1. Coordinates TA's participation in special projects:

  • Collaborating with the Manager of TA, serves as TA's point of contact during organizational endeavors requiring significant recruitment operations, including acquisitions and growth initiatives.
  • For large scale/cross functional projects, serves as the TA representative in partnership with the Project Management Office and the assigned Project Manager.
  • For in-department projects, utilizes project management methodologies and processes to facilitate the project life cycle.
  • Skilled in leading and developing a work breakdown structure and providing project oversight to ensure project deliverables and outcomes are met in a timely manner.
  • Monitors progress of projects against schedule.
  • Reports on and tracks barriers, issues, and risks. Engages in problem solving of barriers and issues. Identifies mitigation strategies to manage risks.
  • Ensures an organized, thorough, and effective project transition through to sustain and operate. o Establishes and documents project charters, governance, project plans, and project schedule where applicable.
  • Clearly identifies and assigns tasks while aggregating deliverables.
  • Assigns roles and responsibilities.
  • Assists with development of success metrics to effectively report project results.
  • Leads collaboration within TA and manages a detailed project task list.
  • Supports development of RFI/RFP and SOW for TA where applicable.

2. Facilitates planning activities for TA operations:

  • Partners with Director and Manager of TA in determining appropriate KPIs/metrics for tracking and accountability purposes; advises on strategies for data distribution and accountability structures.
  • Collects, aggregates, monitors, presents, and distributes applicable TA data to the team and leadership.
  • Checks and adjusts data presentation to ensure comprehension and adherence to accountability standards.
  • Stays abreast of industry data trends and monitors departmental trends, creating outputs to assist leadership's understanding of team performance compared to and across industries both regionally and nationally.

3. Partners with TA Supervisors and Manager to ensure visibility to lean expectations for the TA program:

  • Monitors departmental lean work via dashboards and other tools; follows up with individuals and leaders as applicable to ensure lean activities progress and are uploaded to the metrics tracker.
  • Helps coordinate continued focus on lean fundamentals via the KPO.
  • Validates individual and team adherence on a regular schedule as requested by leadership.

4. Facilitates audits to ensure adherence to verification and validation of required criteria in alignment with job descriptions.

  • Creates visibility to identified gaps.
  • Partners with team to improve workflows, eliminate single-point failures, and optimize systems functionality to error proof processes.
  • Reports out to leaders and team members at a regular cadence.

5. Serves as back-up for departmental positions during vacancies.

  • Is fully trained and functional as a recruiter, including systems training (Infor, Click-Up, Corporate Screening, Skill Survey, etc.).
  • Serves as main point of contact for designated open and new recruitments when a departmental void is identified.
  • Is fully trained on quality assurance processes to serve as back-up when needed.
  • Is read-in on the work of departmental support roles, such as the Recruitment Coordinators and Employer Brand/Student Relations, to alleviate single-point failures.

6. Serves in TA generalist capacity, flexing responsibility dependent upon business demand.

Background/Expertise:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible recruitment support or administrative experience in roles requiring coordination of data or projects with significant monitoring of progress to achieve desired outcomes required.
  • Experience serving as subject matter expert, or direct resource required.
  • Experience using databases, tracking, and entering data required.
  • Ability to investigate problems, make evaluations, provide consultation to others required.
  • Knowledge of recruiting systems and hiring processes desired.
  • Experience in quality control, regulatory compliance, and problem solving preferred.
  • Previous HR experience preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze current methods and processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high sense of urgency, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, adept problem solver.
  • Significant ability to keep track of details on multiple areas of responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintains strong commitment to confidentiality in all areas of work and communication.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws.
