Opportunity to build a program and processes from the ground up leveraging your work experience and best practice Collaborate with departments across the organization to quickly build relationships and familiarity with Wintrust Growing organization with opportunities to advance your career Job Description The Risk Manager (RM) is a newly created position that will lead the continuous development of our first line banking operations risk and compliance governance framework including: Building processes and controls to pro-actively identify, manage, monitor, report and mitigate risk and issues Leading and managing SOX reviews, Risk Self-Assessments, Internal and External Reviews and Exams Business continuity plan (BCP) coordinator and point of contact Conducting control effectiveness reviews and make recommendations for changes Development and Management of Key Risk and Key Performance Indicators (KRIs and KPIs) Creating a framework and centralized team to support Bank Operations and Branch procedures REQUIREMENTS: 7 - 10 years financial industry experience required 3 - 5 years Risk and Compliance experience 1-2 years as a cross functional influencer in a corporate setting 1-2 years experience presenting to upper management Bachelors Degree or equivalent required Microsoft Office Suite, including Powerpoint #LI-HYBRID From our first day in business, Wintrust has been proud to serve a variety of unique communities and people from all walks of life.
