Job Summary:
The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the Account Executive with their high-profile brands/clients. This will be done through the following objectives with the help and support of the Account Executive leading the process:
• Support the AE internally by handling all brand callouts, one off projects, and recaps
• Drive program execution through specific tasks and projects, directed by the AE
• Build client business with Winston by presenting and proving our results. Continuously communicate success stories to clients. Validate Winston impact at retail- weekly. Utilize SVR/Photo process to communicate success stories/opportunities to Winston and Clients
• Utilize and strengthen the SVR/Photo process to visualize and communicate results
• Communicate effectively to Winston Team (all departments), Field Merchandising Team, Retailers and Clients
• Support Field Merchandising Team to resolve on-floor challenges with a positive, solution-oriented approach
Associate Account Manager Salary Range:
$50-$60k/year
Note: This range is representative of earning potential and actual pay is based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.
Experience Requirements:
• 3-5 years of retail, wholesale, or branded apparel experience
• BA/BS Degree or Fashion/Merchandising Degree
• Previous work as a merchandise coordinator at an apparel company preferred
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent and proven presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet, email, and the ability to master our field visit report/photo reporting system and utilize digital photography
• Effective negotiating skills
• Strong independent work ethic and business acumen
• Ability to adjust to change regularly and be motivated by working with a variety of brands, categories and retailers
• Strong project management skills
• Must be exceptionally organized and excellent at time management
• Ability to decipher data, analyze and draw sound conclusions that result in actionable results
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
• Must be solution-oriented, with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities at retail via strong relationship building with both clients and internal associates
• The candidate must also be willing to grow and work as an Account team member to elevate Winston’s reputation in the marketplace
• Must be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
