The Digital Beverage Group (including WineBid and Last Bottle) is looking for a well-rounded accounting professional to join our Accounting Team operations. The ideal candidate is based in Napa Valley, CA however we will consider candidates in the Bay Area or Pacific Northwest. You will be a key member of the accounting team with responsibilities to:

• Own all aspects of inventory accounting including deferred revenue and COGS
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations, leases, daily sales, fixed assets, and accrued expense
• Develop process for monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
• Assist Sr. Manager with monthly GAAP financial statement creation and consolidation
• Key contributor to month end close process for parent entity and two subsidiaries
• Provide documents and explanations to external auditors to facilitate annual audits
• Prepare quarterly sales tax returns and calculate monthly sales tax deposits
• Ad hoc projects for CFO and management
• Contribute to annual budgeting process and key metric reporting
• Daily banking and monthly bank account reconciliations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3 years of related experience.
• Intermediate to expert in excel
• Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills spanning all levels of the company from staff to C level
