Joining the WIN team as a System Analyst-intern is an integral role within the System Administration Department, and as such, all ideas, input and constructive recommendations will be highly valued. This position will assist in managing and updating workstations and provide front line support for all customers using the company ticketing system while working directly with customers. This is a highly collaborative environment requiring the ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
Provide excellent customer service to all customers (internal and external) and member companies. Set up and deploy computers and phones for new or existing employees. Use ticketing system to promptly respond to customer requests in an efficient, timely manner. Work with internal and security team on security framework SOP’s. Check server log files daily and research any potential errors. Assist with the implementation of Network Management Center & Technical Service Desk support systems. Monitor backup server, research and report any errors. Verify workstations stay up-to-date in accordance with maintenance schedule. Create and update system documentation. Assist with supporting printers and ensure monitoring systems reflect current systems.
Perform any additional job-related duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and provide our Members with industry leading customer service.
Familiarity with DNS, SNMP, SMTP, Radius, NTP, and network security. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Preferred Technical Skills:
Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, and phones.
Graduated or currently pursuing Associates degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science or related field or have one or more years of experience in desktop support
