Wilson Sonsini is looking for an organized and experienced accounts payable manager to provide strong leadership to the department and ensure that it runs smoothly. Responsibilities include the following: Oversee and review routine accounts payable activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time. Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies. Maintain accurate records. Set and facilitate the achievement of department objectives. Oversee month-end and year-end processes. Oversee 1099 reporting. Continuously review processes and systems for improvement. Communicate effectively both externally and internally across all employee levels. Hire, train, motivate and evaluate accounts payable staff members. Manage vendor relationships to ensure accurate set-up of new records and compliance controls for changes of existing records. Manage team workload to ensure work is balanced among accounts payable team members. Required Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership skills Excellent oral, written communication and problem-solving skills Excellent accounts payable accounting and management skills Proficiency with the Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or equivalent experience Ability to analyze information and processes Experience as an Accounts Payable Manager in the legal industry is preferred We offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
