Willow Ridge Senior Living is Hiring an Executive Director Near Oneonta, NY

Willow Ridge Senior Living is a 65-bed Adult Home, providing care for the seniors of Otsego County.

The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations. The Executive Director is responsible for supervising resident services to ensure quality care, safety, and the promotion of good mental and physical health. The Executive Director shall maintain positive work relationships with the public, ownership, the Residents and their families and staff. The Executive Director shall perform all functions relating to employee hiring/firing, training, job performance, and general facility policies/procedures. The Executive Director shall be accountable for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience

  • The Executive Director shall be a minimum 21 years of age and must demonstrate evidence of good moral character acceptable to the Department of Health.
  • The Administrator must possess one of the following educational qualifications:

1. A high school diploma or equivalency certificate, plus three years of related work experience acceptable to the DOH, including one year of related supervisory experience; or

2. An associate's degree from an accredited university in an approved course of study, plus two years of related work experience acceptable to the DOH, including one year of related supervisory experience; or

3. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an approved course of study, plus one year of related supervisory experience acceptable to the department.

  • The Executive Director must possess emotional stability and be able to function smoothly, effectively and concentrate with many distractions.
  • The Executive Director must have a thorough understanding on the NYSDOH regulations regarding Adult Homes.
  • The Executive Director must possess understanding, patience, and tact in dealing with staff, residents and their families.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
