Williams Consulting, LLC (WCLLC) is in search of a Project Manager to join our growing team onsite at our Catonsville, Maryland office on the campus of the University of Maryland Baltimore County. The core business hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm.

Description

Williams Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and oversee the application submission process for a new healthcare Model for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) within the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the services as provided under the project contract. 
  • Establish and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and reporting on project status.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues that may impact the submission process.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project staff, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment. 
  • Prepare and distribute project-related reports, status reports and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years proven experience in project management and leadership roles, particularly in healthcare or regulatory compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of CMS and CMMI Models.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) regulations, requirements, policies, and procedures, cost and schedule estimating, systems disciplines, and commercial practices.
  • Experience in managing government contracts including reporting, budget tracking and compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle unexpected challenges.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, prioritization, and quality of work. 
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on a variety of projects with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
  • Excels at customer service and has strong interpersonal skills.
  • Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Develops strong relationships with project teams and has strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance. 
  • Background investigation required. 

 Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • HUBZone candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions and Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Standing, sitting, squatting, and other normal office-related physical activities are required. Must be able to sit and read computer screens for extended periods.
