Qualifications:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Driver’s license (Valid and insurable with our insurance carrier)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of successful background requirements
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and transfer individuals as needed.
  • A caring heart and a desire to assist others
  • Obtain and maintain all required certifications (all provided during your paid training)
Primary Job Duties:
  • Provide direct care to adults with developmental disabilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming (dress/groom, bathing/showering, toileting, and hygiene care, etc.)
  • Assist with meal prep and feeding 
  • Assist with activities within the day program setting and community settings
  • Transportation to the program and to community outings.
  • Encourage and assist individuals with participation in all activities.
  • Establish and maintain support/companionship with the individuals we serve
  • Keep ADS setting clean and sanitary
